LIST OF WINNERS OF THE 2017 BET AWARDS

The 2017 BET Awards kicked off in Los Angeles Sunday night (June 25) with R&B superstar Bruno Mars opening the festivities. Hosted by comedic actress Leslie Jones, who wiled out during her opening monologue, the awards ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater and boasted performances from notable artists such as Migos, Post Malone and Future.
Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj are nominated in the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist category alongside Cardi B, Missy Elliott, and Young M.A, while Drake, Future, Chance The Rapper, Big Sean, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar are nominated for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist. Lil Chano is also being honored with the 2017 BET Humanitarian Award.
Early in the show, Migos took home the award for Best Group, beating out A Tribe Called Quest, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, and Rae Sremmurd, while Solange won the Centric Award for her “Cranes In The Sky” video.
